Layering objects on the form

Post by ChrisMcElyea »

Hi,

I am trying to use a panel to cover the entire dialog so I can change the background color of the form. The issue I'm having is that it is covering text boxes and other images. How can I put the newest object(panel) behind the other objects(text and images) on the form? The theme and form are Plain:Registration Dialog.

Dear User,

if you want to use a Panel control as background, you should place any other control you want inside the Panel control.
To do this, select the panel and then add in (by selecting a control from Dialog Editor Menu) the control you want.

To modify the object relation of the added controls, right click the control and use "Bring to Front" or "Send to back" commands.

Send to Back is what I was looking for it worked for the Edit boxes and Radio button objects but not for image objects, text objects. I tried bringing the text boxes and images Front but it didn't work like I thought. Is this a feature or a bug?

Dear User,

could you post a sample project with a dialog or even a screenshot that illustrates what you are trying to do?

I'm not quite sure if I am following your real target.

Let me know.
