IA15 miabuild installer always run 32bit mode

Hi all.
I have a problem with IA15 relating to miabuild.exe. The project detects whether the target machine is x86 or x64 and sets "Set 64 Bit mode" accordingly.
When compiling the project through the IDE (web build) the resulting *.exe behaves as expected, the target folder is set to "C:\Program Files\xxx" regardless if the target machine is x86 or x64.
But when compiling the same project through miabuild.exe the resulting installer suggests "C:\Program Files(x86)\xxx" on a x64 box indicating that the "Set 64 Bit mode" doesn't seem to behave properly and runs the installer in 32 bit?

Any thoughts?

Dear Bjarne,

Without having your project, I can only suppose ... that probably exist a compiler variable declared with your project and this could be assigned to a different value through IA IDE.

Well, I do indeed use compiler vars but the only one's passed as args are PRODUCT_VERSION and OUTPUT_FILENAME, the entire command line is shown here below.

Compiler var 'LOADOLDDATA' is static and set to TRUE in the IDE.

Can any of these really effect the 32/64 mode?

Dear Bjarne,

LOADOLDDATA: If set to TRUE, the setup engine will load feature definitions and other saved data (see the Load Feature Selections command for more details) from an older version of setup.

By the way, the above variable as TRUE will only loads the saved data if a previous version is found during installation.

If are able to send me a very minimal project that replicates your issue, I will try to verify it.

You can put this one aside. After rewriting the IA related scripts (checkXXX, setupXXX) the problem vanished. Don't ask me why
