Basically, I would like to create a Installer for my program using Install Aware.
I would like to hide every trace of the installer using "INSTALLAWARE".
Basically, I don't want anyone to ever find out that we used Installaware to create the installer.
For example: hide the "Installaware is preparing wizard" and etc...
I also dont want anyone to be able to decompile the msi to figure out that we used InstallAware.
is this possible ?
It's not anything towards InstallAware, we think it's a great program.
We just need it to be a private kind of thing.
Is there a way to completely hide InstallAware

Dear User,
You can modify as you like any string resource that refers to InstallAware.
However, each setup package generated with InstallAware contains information about the IA licensed user and this information, can't be removed in any way.
I can only suggest you to use in encrypted form the sensible data that your setup package should handle ... there is no other way.
Regards

What kind of information contains in IA licensed user ?
I would be able to encrypt that date ?
Would you be able to provide an example on how to do so ?
Thank you so much for your help.

Dear User,
The name of the licensed user and the InstallAware edition.
This is up to you. You should develop a custom strategy for that, using an external component you developed or using an IA third party plugin.

Re: Is there a way to completely hide InstallAware
Thank you for the information.
Would you be able to tell me where the file/information is located ?
Let's say I've created a InstallAware msi.
Then I use 7-Zip to look inside that msi.
Would I be able to find IA Information there ?
If so, then what file?
Basically, I'm trying to figure out how a user would be able to find out I used InstallAware.
