ampersand

Hey,

I have run into a problem with InstallAware 15.
The name of the company I work for is ‘C&S’.
This name should appear in the install wizard both as $TITLE$ and $COMPANY$.
The program however seems to have problems with the ampersand as it gets dropped in the finished installer and only displays ‘CS’ instead of ‘C&S’ in certain places.
One way to get it working is to put down “C&&S” as the name but this results in a mixture of “C&S” und “C&&S”.
Can you tell me a way how to get the ampersand to display reliably?

Good morning Francesco,

I'm writing to you again because i'm still facing the problem I wrote you about.
My firm needs to deal with it to be abel to send out the setups this program is conectet with.
So I am sorry to trouble you again but I hope you have found a solution yet.

Dear Benni,

Unfortunately, I haven't found a solution unless you use two different variables for the company name.
One to be used with dialog title (a custom variable that holds the company name with the double && character) and the pre-defined COMPANY variable for any other use.

I understand that it isn't an excellent solution ... but it is the only possible at the moment.

I am sending a note about this behavior to our dev team.
