left over files in %ProgramData%
left over files in %ProgramData%
Every IA installation leaves files behind in ProgramData under the PackageCode GUID folder. Mostly only a mia.lib and a small setup.exe file. Why these files are not deleted on uninstall?

What about this topic? Please Francesco or someone else help me with this issue. Is it a wrong setting in my IA or does every IA setup has this problem by design?

Dear Alibaba,
Please believe me, I just tried to replicate the problem you are reporting but I am not able to verify it.
With my verifications the folder is always removed on un-install.
Now I don't know if this could be caused by some unique tasks that your packages executes or if it can be caused by some other circumstances.
If you are able to replicate the issue with a sample project I'll try to have a look.
Regards

Re: left over files in %ProgramData%
I suppose it has to do with the support files. Did you try a project with maybe a (support file) .dll that is called by the setup.
