User-defined variables do not appear to be known is scripts

Postby JohnO » Wed Nov 27, 2013 10:57 am

The value of a system-defined variable such as TARGETDIR is available in all scripts. However, the value of variables that I define, only seem to be known in the script that defines them.
Is that correct?
Is there a way to make my variables global in scope?

Regards, John

Dear John,

all variables are "Global Variables" ... so just verify that your variable it is effectively declared before used.
