Installaware not run after windows upgrade

Postby sontle » Fri Mar 07, 2014 12:51 pm

We are running InstallAware 8. After upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7, we no longer see the Installaware instance in the control panel. We tried to run it from program files location but it complaints about missing plugins. I think we forgot to save the windows registry for Installaware. Can you provide some instruction to set it up again using info from program files (x86) location. Help is really appreciated as we can not run it right now.

Also, do you notice and issue that I might get when running InstallAware 8 on windows 7 ?

Dear User,

we are not informed of any particular issue with running IA 8 on Win 7.

Regarding your issue, I can only suggest you to try with re-installing the product.
