Hi,
We've noticed that when we install our product the installation exe is copied to a file in the temp catalog:
For example:
C:\\Documents and Settings\\nfa\\Local settings\\Temp\\{03473E1B-FED9-48EE-A9AB-E5AC2A630914}.exe
When we REMOVE the installation a NEW installation-file is copied to the temp catalog, so we have two installation package on the disk after the program is uninstalled. I'd like to say this is a problem especially for our test team that do a lot of install/uninstall, and the installations files are big.
Can anyone explain to me why the files aren't removed after the installation is finished? Is it something we are doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.
/Nicke

These files are removed automatically when setup quits, and latest when the system reboots. If they are not removed, you may have anti virus or other types of software on your system that is interfering with normal operation.

Re: Temporary files
Dear Senthil,
this is not a problem caused by IA, instead it may depend on the AV settings ... or active security policy settings.
