Uninstall Previous Version of the Product

Hi,

I notice when I try to use setup build using IA, I cannot uninstall the same product but different version which installed using the same setup build using same IA project (previously build). Example :

I build ExampleSetup IA project to create ExampleSetup.exe. Install it. Then I rebuild ExampleSetup IA project to recreate ExampleSetup.exe. I try use the lastest ExampleSetup.exe to uninstall but cannot. How to uninstall previous version, is there any script function to check and uninstall previous version before installing the latest version or should I say upgrade if previous version found.

Dear Ramu2020,

Press SHIFT+CTRL+F11 in the IA IDE, from the "project Options" dialog select the "Output" node from the left tree pane, finally verify that the "Change revision code automatically" flag is checked. "Checking it will enable seamless, automatic upgrades of your product."
