Team Foundation Server Settings

Postby mark2015 » Tue Feb 24, 2015 7:17 pm

My Team Foundation Server Settings are greyed out. I have not found any reference on what I need to do in order to activate them. The documentation states they are active by default, so I am not sure what is wrong. I have Studio Admin as well, so it should not be a lack or missing functionality.

Thanks.

Dear Mark,

as reported with the IA documentation;

InstallAware supports versions 2010, 2012, and 2013 of Team Foundation Server.

To enable Team Foundation Server functionality in the InstallAware IDE, it is sufficient to install the Team Foundation Object Model, also known as the TFS Client, for the server version you want to use, on the same system where you have installed the InstallAware IDE.

The above components are installed by default with Visual Studio and in case you don't have or don't want to install Visual Studio, you have at least to install the "Team Foundation Object Model" for the TFS version you want to use.

Hope this helps you.

Excellent, that is the piece I was missing. Thank you.
