Cannot create file

Hi together,

we have a customer who wanted to install our product on Windows 10.
Now we have the problem, that during installation there was an error:

Cannot create file "C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Temp\mia1\installaware.png".
The system can not find the path specified. "And" errors in the setup resource decrompression".

Our customers have allready installed our product under Windows10 before without any problems.
Anyone else have seen this error before? What can we do to fix this and get our product installed correctly?

Dear Martin,

what you are reporting seems to be a classic Anti Virus issue.

Running the package on a test machine, did you check if an "installaware.png" file gets correctly decompressed under the local temporary folder?
If true, for sure it exists something with that specific "target machine" that removes or alters such file.

is your setup package digitally signed?

Hi Francesco,

I gave our support the hint to delete the whole folder: "C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Temp\mia1" and start the installation again.
This works for this customer. So I didnt investigate here any more maybe its really a problem with a specific Antivir constellation.
And yes our Setups are always signed, but it isnt a problem with security in windows i guess...
Doesnt matter, I thought anyone else had the same problem and would know the quick answer for this.
As long as only a single customer had the problem (and this could be solved) I dont see any reason to go deeper into this thematic.
