Where is the Web Update feature?

I'm trying to setup the web update feature for Installaware but I cannot find it anywhere on my computer.

Also, I can't send e-mails to anyone at your company because your server is returning them as blocked so I have to post here. Is there anyway to get unblocked?

The web update feature installs when you install the product and after your first windows restart it will prompt you for some information to set itself up. (This applies to V6 only)

Thanks for the reply. I was looking for the scripts and the code to build my own for my product.

From the e-mail I got from Candace:

"InstallAware Web Update: With a look-and-feel like Windows Update, it takes the pain out of shipping updates to your users and comes complete with the source code, so you can customize dialogs, update logic, anything, and everything."

I don't see this anywhere though.

Add the web update feature to your setup package via the Project Proerties page and the dialogs and update script will be added automatically and then you can modify it all accordingly.

Not to sound like an idiot, but I cannot find the option to add web aware to my project. I checked the project properties and I don't see it at all.

Hi!

Just read the help topic titled "Web Updates". Its a step-by-step guide into this new, exciting feature.

If you cannot follow the steps, make sure you have installed the correct version of InstallAware on your system - 6.0 trial *and* the 6.0 license, re-generated from your license account.
