button background color

I used your older version 11 product for a client a few years ago.
A new client is evaluating you product so i downloaded the eval version to see if it would meet the needs.
I have spent well over an hour trying to edit a dialog and simply change the background color of a button.
I have tried many types of buttons and got nowhere.
In frustration i thought i would try the support forum.
It took be a long time to figure out the answer to the secret question but finally after many guesses i got it.

So i am only at step 1 of many steps, i hope all customization of your product is not so hard.

So what is the trick, how do i change the color of the button background? There just does not seem to be a property for that.

Well a few more hours fiddling with this. Nothing useful in the help file.
In the end perhaps this is not supported.
Maybe you need to do all buttons as graphics if you want to set the colors.

Dear OttawaDeveloper,

unfortunately this is not supported.

The only option is to assign a bitmat to a Bitmap button.
