Hi,
I am having a strange issue. I have a test project created. The name of the Project is "Driver Installation" and the destination folder (default value) is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver Installation". However if I create a folder named "Driver" in "C:\Program Files (x86)" and to select it (by browsing to it, I still see "C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver Installation" as the value show in the text box. In short if the folder names are similar, its still taking the default folder name (not the one selected). I have this issue in all of my different projects.
thanks
Saji

Re: Destination Folder
Dear Saji,
can you please post a very "VERY" minimal project that replicates the issue?

Re: Destination Folder
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. This can be very easily reproduced. I have attached a sample project. This project is created from you "Project Wizard" template. The following steps will help you recreate the issue
1. Create a folder called "Project" in "C:\Program Files (x86)"
2. When you run the project in IA, in the dialog for destination folder, select this path (from the directory browsing)
3. You will notice that the file path in the text box below does not change (and it will change for any other directory you select). The reason being the Project name "ProjectWizard" and the selected folder name "Project" starts with the same word.. I have also attached an image for your reference.
thanks
Saji

Re: Destination Folder
Dear Saji,
as first please do not post multiple times about the same question or to capture our attention.
http://www.installaware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4959
For what concerns the issue you reported, currently I can only confirm that I have been able to replicate it.
I'll send a note about this to our dev team ...unfortunately, currently it doesn't exist any workaround that can be used in order to skip the problem.
Hope this helps you.
