WebRoot blocks InstallAware X6 Setup

It flags DEPENDENT.EXE. It flags it as W32.Adware.Gen. What is in DEPENDENT.EXE that would cause that report?

it is definitely a FALSE positive ...there is nothing "special" in DEPENDENT.EXE.

I have set exclusions, however, the install cannot find dependent.exe during the install process. I do not know how to work around that.

Dear Charles,

as I have already said with other replies, unfortunately often it is not enough to just disable the AV and it may be necessary to un-install it.
