Installer build with IA Studio X6 doesn't show icon in Win 10

When building an installer with IA Studio X6 it will not show the icon in the Windows 10 Start Menu.
Is this a version issue or what is the cause of this problem.
Older versions of Windows were showing the application icon in the Start Menu.

We are not informed of any X6 issue with the Win 10 start menu.
Do you mean shortcuts under the start menu folder? Do you see the shortcut entry but not its icon?

By the way, the X6 installer itself adds shortcuts into Win 10 start menu folder.

Yes it is the shortcut in the Win 10 Start Menu folder.
The entry is there but even though the icon is assigned it doesn't show in the Start Menu just the shortcut.

Did you use a separate icon file for the shortcut? Or the icon embedded with the installed EXE?

I guess a separate, how do I access the embedded icon?

It's simple.

Leave blank both "Icon File Path" and "Icon Number" fields of your shortcut command.
