Hello,
When I create the installation package using "Compressed Single Self-Installing EXE" and have "Build MSI outputs instead of EXE outputs" checked I end up with the "Product Code GUID.exe" instead of the "Product name.exe" when the UAC dialog pops up.
When I uncheck the box, I get "Product name.msi" and no longer see the GUID which is preferred but unsure why this works this way. Any clarification would be appreciated.
I will attach pictures to better explain my issue.
Thank you,
Luis Lopez

Please have a look at the following thread:

Alternatively and instead of a MSI output, I might suggest of producing a self-extracting EXE... nowadays it's a much better choice.
