System Restore

Postby ckuske » Wed Aug 09, 2006 8:01 am

Is there a way to have InstallAware not create a Restore Point in System Restore? Our application is designed to be hidden to the user...

If not, is there a workaround that you could suggest?

InstallAWARE does not create any kind of restore points from default.
Are you sure that it did create restore point on your machine?

It looks like it's only creating one when it's uninstalled... But, I'd still like to get rid of that if possible.

I'd be interested to find out what's putting "Removed" along with my app name into System Restore's GUI then whenever the uninstall is run then...

This is not InstallAWARE's function but a default System Restore feature.
