Colapse components in Custom feature selection

Post by seanmckenna »

Hello,

When I show the custom component selection screen, I would like to be able to select which components are expanded and which are collapsed. Is this possible? I have been looking around and I can't find any information about this yet.

thanks.

Sorry, as a convenience to the end-user, these are always auto-expanded by default.

Thats too bad. My setup ends up having about 40 features. I have only two main features which all the others branch off of. When they are all expanded, the view is quite confusing. This is not very convenient.

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to deal with it for now.

I also have a many components which renders a big tree and by auto-expanding all components and sub-components the whole treeview gets almost unreadable.

Please let us customers decide how to design the installers.
In many packages we have optional components with quite a few sub-components which isn't necessary to show/expand at all in most cases.

I really hope you reconsider.
