Does the MDAC Refresh include Jet 4.0 SP8? If not, how can I install the Jet 4.0 SP8 using InstallAware Express 2005?
From what I can find on the net, I have to install MDAC first, then reboot, and then install the appropriate Jet SP (based on OS). Can this be done with IA Express?
I suspect the MDAC refresh does not include JET, this would explain the problems you were experiencing with the MDAC refresh.
You cannot use Express for the custom behavior you describe below. You would need to use at least Developer for the scripting, and preferably Studio for debugging.
