How to get 'total required space' for installation?

Destination dialog component receives it. How to get it in script?

I tried to found simple out workaround. I've copied TotalRequredSpace control from Destination to Welcome dialog, added new Edit control to Welcome dialog. Then I've defined ObjectRule which copies TotalRequiredSpace.Caption to Edit.Text, and object behavior for Edit to copy value to script variable.
During execution, Edit displays requested value, but it is not copied to script variable. Why?

This is probably because the entry is not made by a user, thus the rule is not enforced (to prevent infinite rule enforcement loops that might occur).

I have already added your request as a feature enhancement to the database - should be coming soon.

But when I set focus into Edit control and press Delete button the valye is copied to variable.....

Yes, because then you have interacted with the control as a user, like I just said.
