I have created a version 1 installation and everything seems to be fine. I found a bug in my application so am now about to send out version 2. I created a new sub-folder (just in case Installaware didn't do it automatically) then opened the version 1 project and used File, Save Project As and stored it in the new sub-folder. I changed the Revision code, Project properties and Build Settings to refelect the new version and the new folder.
I have noticed that whenever I save the version 2 project, the MIA files (listed in the subject heading of this message) of the version 1 project are being overwritten and the datetimestamps are changing.
Is this OK or is there something I have failed to do. I want to try to use the Patch option to go from version 1 to version 2 (as well of course as producing a full version 2 install) and so I am trying to ensure that the version 1 project does not change at all now that installations are out there.
.MIA, .MIA.BRK and .MIA.FLD files

You don't need to preserve the old project source for patching...just the binaries.
The behavior is normal. If you "save a project as...", the script files are not relocated automatically. They will have to be "saved as..." also.
To move the entire project, just copy the entire project folder.
