Formatting display of disk-space

Post by gareth.hayter »

Is there any way to format how AvailableDiskSpace and TotalRequiredSpace are formatted and displayed to the user? AvailableDiskSpace is displayed as MB, while TotalRequiredSpace is displayed as KB. I would like to display both as MB.

Thanks,
Gareth.

This is dynamically performed based on how much disk space is actually required and available.

It would be great if the logic can be changed to:
Less than 1MB: display as KB
Greater than 1MB and less than 1GB: display as MB
Greater than 1GB: display as GB

An example illustrates too many digits are displayed:
Available space: 60,597MB
Required space: 13,846KB

This example would be far more user-readable if displayed as:
Available space: 60.6GB
Required space: 13.8MB

Maybe in the next release?

I've been requested this by our GUI Review Board (reporting different units isn't desirable)
