I want to customize the ProgressText information a user sees on the progress dialog box. For example, I want users to know that data is being downloaded from the internet, but I don't want them to see the URL where the data is coming from. In another instance, I want users to see "Step 1 of 10...", "Step 2 of 10...", etc. rather than the generic progress text.
I tried using the SET VARIABLE PROGRESSTEXT="custom text here" prior to any INSTALL FILES command, but once an INSTALL FILES command is initiated, my text disappears and is replaced with the generic text (filename, directory, size).

I don't want to completely remove the PROGRESSTEXT field since it displays many more things than just installing files, such as the download progress of media blocks. I just want more control over what is displayed in the ProgressText field, or completely override in some cases.
Can I use multiple non-modal Progress dialog boxes as the installation progresses?

New with InstallAware 6.4x, you can now use custom progress bars and texts on your dialogs. These will be refreshed automatically without needing to show different progress dialogs.
To use a custom progress bar, just set its "writes values to variable" to the variable it should actually read the percentage progress from (a range from 0 to 100).
To use custom progress text, just set the caption of a label on a form to $VARIABLE$, where that's a variable that is already defined (and updated) in your MSIcode script.

Could you please elaborate on how to do the custom progress text? I can not use the static test as I would like because I am installing on machines running a classic view form of windows such as Server 2003, Windows 2000, and Windows XP with the windows classic theme.
The static text does not show up correctly on these OS's and themes.
I have tried to create a lable that bring in the variable $PROGRESSTEXT$ and when testing the dialog from the dialog editor is shows the app that is being installed, the file, and the location.
But when actually installing my app it only shows the "Installing App" portion.
So if you could give a good example of how to set this up it would be great.
