During the installation of InstallAware X2 Avira reports a virus (TR/Spy.Banker.Gen) in pPin32.cpl,
which is located in C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Temp\mia1
I installed from the offline setup.

Dear Stefan,
unfortunately there isn't so much that we can do on this side.
We constantly inform all AV vendors about our product but some of them are not very collaborative.

We never had problems with Avira removing false positives.

Re: IA X2 installation - Avira reports trojan
After creating our first own setup we found out, that this trojan report also pops up when we run the installation.
This is inacceptable!
What is this pPin32.cpl for and how can we prevent that it gets used?
We sent a report to Avira and Avast, which also claims to have found this trojan.
As it is we cannot use IA X2 until this problem is solved.

Update - IA X2 installation - Avira reports trojan
Only a few hours after we sent the report we got an answer from Avira that they verified
the false positive and will remove it from the list of dangerous software.
Since we don't get the virus warning anymore this obviously happened already.

Dear "Pfennig",
I am happy you have finally solved your issue.
Unfortunately AV are causing a lot of problems lately ... my AV reported Visual Studio files as false positives.
