Problem with downloads in Windows Server 2019

Hi everybody,

I'm getting trouble running Installaware installers (created with X2 or X7 versions) in Windows Server 2019.

The problem is when the installer tries to download something (using Download File command, o also with web media blocks), it fails. If I try to download the same url from a web browser (or from other tools like Powershell, for example), it work ok.

I'm logged with a user in the Administrator group.

Have anybody faced somethink like this ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you have a MIME Type setup for .7zip. I ran into that quite awhile back on an old 2003 Server and just adding the MIME Type corrected the issue. You might also look into your timeout settings.
