Can't create a patch, sits at "Creating patch" step

Trying to create a simple patch, pointed to the previous install file, clicked "build patch". Using Installaware x9 express.

Never comes back, processor stays at 22%, no disk activity....

Nevermind.... it just took a really long time (20 mins) without updating the progress bar.
