WiXAware and InstallAware- coexistence and cooperation?

Hello!

Are there any features or plans for features for projects which want to use WiX for some parts and full IA for other?

1. Are there migration or import ways? For example, what about import/export of projects in both directions (of course with limited functionality in the IA->WiX direction)

2. Will it be possible to use Wix(Aware) generated MSI Packages together in a full IA environment, e.g. with a boot strapper or Web parts, or ...

Hi Philip,

Good questions!

1) A WiX -> InstallAware import tool is under construction. An InstallAware -> WiX tool is not planned at this time.

2) You can run WiX setups in InstallAware today using the (Un)Install MSI Setup command, and even capture the native progress of the WiX setup.
