The virtual folder is missing a very important feature:
Code: Select all
"A redirection to a URL" under "The content for this resource should come from:"
I even tried using the Set IIS Property:
Code: Select all
Set IIS Folder Property "HttpRedirect" to /$IISVIRTUALFOLDER$/layouts, CHILD_ONLY, PERMANENT in site # 1/$IISVIRTUALFOLDER$
but it doesn't work since it adds the property wrong (with the "IABLE" attribute=inheritable).
Does anyone have a clue how to solve this?

Hi mrhaze
I don't know what you had in $IISVIRTUALFOLDER$ but I gave this a go and it worked fine.
Code: Select all
Set IIS Folder Property "HttpRedirect" to http://www.somedomain.com.au, CHILD_ONLY, PERMANENT in site # 1/test
You have to make sure you end up with
http://xxxxxxxxx, xxx or it won't work.
cheers
