When running a "replace" command to replace one string with another it does not seem to replace ALL instances.
1. In SQL commands it only replaces "First" Occurance. Second and subsequent in same command are ignored.
2. Does not change anything in Project Options.
Anyone else noticed this??
I think 1. is definitely a bug, possibly 2 is not.
Sample SQLCommand
Replacing 295 with 30 would only catch first occurence.
before
RESTORE DATABASE [Agility295Test] FROM DISK = '$Targetdir$\\Database\\TestSystem\\AgilityDemo295.BAK'
WITH FILE = 1,
MOVE 'AgilityDemo295data' TO '$Targetdir$\\Database\\TestSystem\\agility295Test.mdf',
MOVE 'AgilityDemo295log' TO '$Targetdir$\\Database\\TestSystem\\agility295Test.ldf',
NOUNLOAD
GO
After
RESTORE DATABASE [Agility30Test] FROM DISK = '$Targetdir$\\Database\\TestSystem\\AgilityDemo295.BAK'
WITH FILE = 1,
MOVE 'AgilityDemo295data' TO '$Targetdir$\\Database\\TestSystem\\agility295Test.mdf',
MOVE 'AgilityDemo295log' TO '$Targetdir$\\Database\\TestSystem\\agility295Test.ldf',
NOUNLOAD
GO
Replace does not replace ALL occurences of a string
