I recently purchased the Installaware Express version and I continually get the follwoing error message as soon as the files are to be copied to the their target locations.
"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2727."
Can anybody explain to me why I may be getting this error message?
I was told by InstallAware's tech guy that according to MSDN, the error description is "The directory entry does not exist in the directory table." I'm not sure what that means.

Make sure you are not deleting or moving the file somewhere else in your installer.
If you execute a move command and then later do a delete it will reproduce the same error.
...don't know if that helps or not, but I ran in to it making sure a file was replaced.
