How do you link the action of a 'browse' button to variable?

Post by soeinz »

I have 2 separate paths that need to be selected in the destination dialog of my installer. I have duplicated the edit and browse button for the TARGETDIR and modified the edit control to link to a different variable. My question is how do I make the second browse button action change the new variable. I've tried setting its action to 'Select Custom Folder' but I cannot see where you set what the custom folder is and when I do this the second browser button does nothing (and the first, oddly enough, modifies both edit controls)

This is accomplished by setting the "Writes values to Variable" to the name of the button you pasted. See attached screenshot for an example.
