Our application, currently built using IS 12 X, includes MDAC 2.7.
How do I include MDAC 2.7 in my install since it's not listed in the Application Runtimes section?
MDAC 2.8 might work for us but we've never tested this version so I'm not sure if there are possibly compatibility issues, especially with old Win9X OS's.
I searched the forum and didn't find any mention of MDAC 2.7.
Thanks

Many ways to do this. Easiest would be to add it to your setup project as a support file (called Creatives in the visual IDE), and then run it using the Run Program command (or the Run Programs designer in the visual IDE).
If you want to go hard-core, you can read our "Extending the Application Runtimes View" whitepaper on our website's Support/Publications section and build your custom application runtime.
