Registering a NON self-registering dll.
Registering a NON self-registering dll.
Anyone have any ideas on how to create a script to register dlls that are NOT self-registering?
...
Never heard of a Non-self registering DLL that needs registering. If it is COM and needs registered, I prefer using Import in the registry area of IA. If it is a classic windows DLL, that does not need registered, either install it in the same folder as the program that uses it or in the Windows System32 folder.

uncheck the self-register check box.Austin wrote:Anyone have any ideas on how to create a script to register dlls that are NOT self-registering?
After apply install,
Run "regsvr32 your.dll".
