corruption during download?

Does the InstallAware runtime ensure that the setup.exe and web media blocks are not not corrupted before using them? ie. does it CRC or hash the file? I'm just wondering if this is something I should check when helping users troubleshoot. Or is this something I should assume IA has taken care of ... and will report an appropriate error message when it happens?

IA will report an error if the data got corrupted or is not found when installing . Don't worry about it.
