Issue with registry values

Hi, am pretty new to using this product and this area of code in general. Im working on a project using InstallAware 8 Studio Admin.

The project is coming along fine, until the final step of the installation where it writes the version values and stuff to the registry where i get this errors attached

I've done extensive googling on the topic to no avail, and wondering if you guys may be able to point me in the right direction.

Hi Nick,

I once had something similar when I used "Trunk" as the product version string.
Try using a product version string with a format similar to "20.2.10.5".
I think it has to start with at least two digits separated with a dot.
"20.2.Trunk" worked if I remember correctly.

richard, thanking you a million times! that was the exact problem.
i originally had it as 2009-1.1D, changed to 09.1.1 and no worries on install.
