Hi,
I built a setup in uncompressed mode. Seems to work fine when running from hard drive, but when running from cd I can't install it because setup probably can't see the files to be installed and I get a message box "Instert disc".
Can anybody help me?
uncompressed setup problem
variables
Hi, Bar_bq,
I haven't tried, but what comes to my mind is, that some predefined variables behave differently if you use compressed or uncompressed installers.
For example SFXPATH, EXEDIR...

Hi Ulrichard,
I decided to use uncompressed and web-based setups for our program.
While the setup is being build, in the script I can see the original source path, for example: d:\\my documents\\wh_setup\\source\\file_name.exe.
When building webbased setup, IA looks for web-packages, so there is no problem. But what happens when biuilding uncompressed setup? Does IA replace that path to relative or not?
