A little confused on the scripting...

I am looking for a "walkthrough" on using MSICode scripting - but I have looked at the help file and all I see are little snippets of each, but no examples of using it. Is there a book that I can buy?

The forums here look active and has a vibrant community. I suppose I can start here.

What I'd recommend is you take a look at the very rich array of sample projects that we have available. Start with the autorun sample project, it shows you that you aren't even restricted to just building setups with MSIcode. Then take a look at other projects. Just expand all code folding regions, print the code, and study it.

It's really pretty obvious! And remember, help for any command is just one F1-press away in the IDE while working in the MSIcode editor.

I was just thinking the same thing - I started getting into 'the zone' looking at this code. I admit that it is easy - just getting used to the way you interact with the code takes some getting used to.
