Is it possible to change the default project folder?

When I create a new project is it possible to permanently override the project folder with a pathname of my choosing so that all subsequent new projects also use the same project folder?

It's no great shakes to edit the project folder with my preferred location each time I create a new project but if IA could remember my last setting that would be better.
