I'm asking the script to
"Find All Files in path $WINDIR$\\assembly\\Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.dll, write result into variable FoundWordInterops"
Such a file does actually exist, but the runtime always says it doesn't. What am I doing wrong?
I checked an WINDIR is c:\\Windows.
Find All Files give false negative result...

The GAC tripped me up...
When looking for files in the GAC you would be well advised to open a command line prompt and type in the dir commands you mean to use. The GAC view in the windows explorer does not show individual files, but only some folders with hashed subfolders that contain the actual file. So the corrected command to find the Word interop looks like this:
Find All Files in path $WINDIR$assembly\\GAC\\Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.* (include subfolders), write result into variable FoundWordInterops.
Also the $WINDIR$ builtin variable includes the trailing '\\' (which I did not expect).
Find All Files in path $WINDIR$assembly\\GAC\\Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.* (include subfolders), write result into variable FoundWordInterops.
Also the $WINDIR$ builtin variable includes the trailing '\\' (which I did not expect).

Not reporting a bug
Thanks Mike. Not a bug per se. You might pass along those comments to the documentation folks to include as a side note for those attempting to find files in the GAC.
