\"Install Files\" overwrite rules

Post by Reiter_Rudolf_S4 »

Hello to everyone, who's reading this!
I have a severe problem with editing the "install files" operation in my MSI code. My setup is used to update some files. If the file versions are different, the later ones are placed in the final installation. But if the filesversions equate each other, the date of modification should be compared! In my setup program files with newer modification dates are replaced and I can't accept this.
I would be very grateful for helpful answers!

Sorry, you've got no choice. That's the way Windows Installer always does it.
