Move/Copy Registry entries from one location to another

Is there a way to do this without a plug-in.
For example, move registry key and all sub-keys/values from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
If not, has anyone already written a plug-in that does this?
