Hello!
I have 2 programs, and an installer for each program. Both installers are created with IA.
Installer 2 should uninstall program 1 during uninstallation of program 1.
I used (Un)Install MSI command with provided ProductID code (and activated checkbox InstallAware Package).
I have common If statement like this in Program 1:
IF REMOVE Equals TRUE
Removal Logic
Logging
Apply Uninstall
End
My question is does (Un)Install MSI command set the REMOVE variable to TRUE when it is used?
If so, then it's definitely a bug, because no IF block is ever executed (during Removal of Program 1), and that is why i have some issues with removing Program 1 using Uninstaller of Program 2.
Removing Program 1 separatelly from Add/Remove Programs is OK. Because i can see the log file with correct info. Which means that REMOVE is definitely equal TRUE, and the MSI code is executed.
Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks in advance!
