Localization question for pre-requisites/application runtime

Post by dalguy72 »

I am building a spanish language version of my installer (using installaware developer 8), and I ran the Localization Wizard and fixed up the strings via the export and then import. I changed the default language to spanish, and recompiled. I have as pre-reqs the .NET framework 3.5 sp1 as well as SQL Server Express 2008. When I rebuild the installer, will it include and use the spanish language versions of these installers if it is missing from the system? If not, how can I make them do that?

No, it will not use special localised versions of runtime installers, however as we wrap them, this should not be a problem.

Have you tried it ? :)
