Slow Builds

Hello,

I am using InstallAware Developer v9 and am building a project of around 2000 files, a mixture of file types.

When using any compression level, the Web Deploy compiler does the first few .dll files like lightning and then takes hours to process files such as .gif, .aspx, .css, .xsl.

Am I missing something in the options that could make these particular files take SO long to compress / compile?

Afraid you are hitting a key problem when it comes to compression.

Are all your files in a single archive / web media block?

Have you tried backing off the compression?
