When I run the patch on some machines, I get the following error: Error 2705: Invalid table: Directory; Could not be linked as tree.
The weird part is that the patch works fine on some computers, but others get this error. I have spent a great deal of time reading, researching, commenting out code, etc.
The bad part is that the error occurs when the "Apply Patch" command is executed. Is there no way to debug once it goes into there. I have tried running the patch and generating a log file, but it did not help at all. From what I've read out there, it seems to me that there is some kind of a problem with the dynamic linking of files in the table structure. But how do I go in and look at that in the MSI file? If anyone can give me any insight into how I might debug this, PLEASE HELP!!!!
