I am absolutely new to the world of building installers, so my apologies for the noob question. I've read through the whitepapers, the forums, and the helpfiles and I'm still not sure how to approach solving my problem.
I'm trying to use IA to create installers for components (driver packages, etc.) that other developers can then install on their dev computers. When the developer has an application ready for release the driver installer needs to be integrated into the application installer. My original thought was to create merge modules for each driver package. I could wrap the merge module in a simple msi for driver-only installations and application installers could include the merge module as part of their install package. However, from what I've read IA can't create merge modules.
Web Media Blocks look like they might serve the same purpose. There are certain component packages I will want to include as part of the installer rather than downloading them from our network server. Is there a way to do this? Are there better ways to accomplish what I'm trying to do?
Not sure how to approach this...

You again insert a Web Media Block command, but mark it "offline" - this will include it in your main setup file.

Thanks for the response Michael. The help files describe how to create Web Media Blocks, but it's not clear to me how to include a pre-existing web media block in a new installer. If I build an installer for DriverA that creates DriverA.7zip and place it on my server, how do I include DriverA.7zip as part of the install package for ApplicationB?
