Hello,
We are using Installaware 9. We have the following problem with one of our customers.
Our product was installed and during web updated of new version the customer running on windows 7 got the following error message - runtime error in install :access violation. Windows is still reconizing the old version as installed but not opening it.
When trying to uninstall directlly from Control Panels we get the same error message - runtime error in install :access violation.
Are you familier with such a problem?
How can we force uninstall?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Cant unsinstall - runtime error in install :access viola
It would appear something corrupted the installer files on the system.
An easy solution would be to do a new build with a different revision code and have that automatically uninstall the old version for you.

Re: Cant unsinstall - runtime error in install :access viola
Simple solution for us was to ask the customer to delete the installer folder and re-install.
