When using the Select Custom Folder action for a button, I would like to be able to set the initial folder when the Browse for Folder dialog is displayed. Currently it starts in Desktop\My Documents.
For example, I have a variable called IMPORT_FOLDER set to C:\Test. On my dialog, I have named the browse button IMPORT_FOLDER and set its action to Select Custom Folder. During the install, when the button is pressed and the Browse for Folder is displayed, I would like it to start in C:\Test.
Is there a way to do this?

Initial Folder for Select Custom Folder
I also have same question.
Whenever I click on Browse button with the property “Perform Action = Select Custom Folder” it always starts browsing from Desktop folder.
How can I select another initial folder to start browsing for destination folder?
For example I have default value for target directory is C:\Program Files\Test.
Now when I click on Browse button, the select custom folder window should show my current target directory as the initial selected folder.
Again, is there a way to do this?
One more question: what is the difference between Perform Action Select Custom Folder and Select Target Folder?
Thanks

Re: Initial Folder for Select Custom Folder
Dear User,
Unfortunately, actually you can not do that unless that you create a dialog and call it externally as could be done with a dll.

The former is for a custom variable whereas the latter is for $TARGETDIR$One more question: what is the difference between Perform Action Select Custom Folder and Select Target Folder?
