Clarifing Questions

Good morning everyone!

Couple of quick questions...hopefully someone can help a gal out

I'm trying to understand InstallAware's process to better develop my packages and can't seem to find any detials on the following commands:

Apply Patch
Apply Install
Apply Uninstall

What calls or details are made when the script hits this point? Do they call the Web Media Blocks? or is there a white paper that I can read that describes them.

Thanks for helping, I'm sure these are ridiculous questions...

Read the help file topic for Apply Changes. Then also take a look at Apply Patch in the help file.

Also read the help file topic Web Media Block.

After these, read the topic Setup Commands Preceding Apply Uninstall.

Finally, read the MSIcode Scripting whitepaper and you should have a solid understanding of the subject!
